Wall E – I like the scene where Wall E was kissed by Eve and were dancing in space after the plant was given to Eve. Also the time where Eve was not moving and Wall E visited her everyday and tried to wake her up and cover her from the rain or storm. Very sweet!
Shrek 1 – Donkey here is my favorite funny bone character. He really makes me laugh! Most of his scenes are hilarious! How he’s always active, loud, and fun!
Up – My favorite scene is that of the love story of Carl & Ellie.
Finding Nemo – There are a lot of scenes that are nice in the process of the search of Marlin (father of Nemo) for his son, Nemo. Dori is one cute character and her scenes having her short term memory loss is too cute and funny!
Ratatouille – A lot of shared wisdom in this movie. One of the quotes I love is “Change is nature. The part we can influence. And it starts when we decide.” The scene you’ll love is where Remy the Rat and Linguini, the garbage boy helped each other with the cooking (and the customers of the restaurant grew). Also the part where the food critic tasted the Ratatouille that defined his taste pallets divinely. Ah! How Remy the Rat described flavors!
This story is not all about crime and war alone. It imparts a beautiful family relationship bond that gives a valuable lesson.
The first scene of the story begins with “Don” Vito Corleone, the head of a New York Mafia “Family”, who was celebrating his daughter’s wedding in their house. His so loved son Michael had just came home from the war, but did not want to want any role in his father’s business. In Michael’s life, the nature of their family business was clear.
Their family business is like the top head of the Family of all families. The business of the family is just like the head of the family, kind and charitable to those who give value and respect; but given ruthless violence when something or someone go against the good of the family. Don Vito lived his full life with his family in the old way classic way, but time changed for others who did not want the old classic lifestyle. Some of the coming rivals of the Corleone family was up for putting drugs int he community in New York. They needed the Don’s influence and blessings to further their plans. The conflict of Don’s fading trust to some double crosser confidants, values and respect for family demanded a terrible price. Michael eventually got involved due to his Father’s and family’s sake. Don Vito Corleone was the aging Don (head leader) of the Corleone Mafia Family. His youngest son, Michael returned from the World War II to attend the wedding of his sister Connie Corleone to Carlo Rizzi. Michael had no attempts or dreams to be involved in the Mafia. He wanted to live a normal life and all their family knows it. Then comes a drug dealer Virgil Sollozzo, looked for Mafia Families for protection and in exchange to give the family of the drug money profit. He came to Don Corleone, he was adviced by Don’s lawyer Tom Hagen, that the Don is morally against drugs and turned his offer down. It was a nice civilized deal but Sollozzo was offended. He asked his men to assasinate Don, they tried shooting Don Vito on Christmas time. He barely survives the shoot-out. This lead to the angered youngest son Michael. They knew Sollozzo was all behind this and Michael began to join the Mafia. Then became the mob war against the disgraceful Sollozzo and lead the core of the Corleone family apart.
This movie is very interesting but not suitable for young audiences. I find it very intriguing and very original. I cannot compare it with any movie I have watched. It’s so classic and it stands for the best. If you keep on watching the rest of the parts, part 2 and part 3, you will see how it all came about (the Mafia Family), who betrayed who, who was Don Vito before he became the Mafia god, who ended the war, who won, etc…
