It seems like this season, the cinemas are filled motion pictures featuring big, noisy, sci-fi, action, and horror films. While not everyone is enjoying this kind of genres, let me introduced you to two of the must good movies to watch this week or in the coming days that producers are wise enough to produce. This film will, for a while, give us a break of watching all those flashy, action-heavy films, and why not enjoy this romantic-comedy and comedy film.

Crazy, Stupid, Love

As of my typing, according to Box Office Mojo website, Crazy Stupid Love ranked number 10 in the box office. In Rotten Tomato, which is a movie database critically devoted to give movie reviews, critic scores and news all related to films; give them a fresh rating from its rating a freshly positive tomatometer review of 76% and a positive user rating of 85%. Does it already sound like a really good movie to watch? Wait till I give more reviews and a little synopsis of the film.

Crazy, Stupid, Love centers the story of Cal Weaver, at forty-something, played by Steve Carell, living with a good life – great job, nice house, good kids and marriage to his high school sweetheart. His life seems to be perfect until his wife Emily (Julianne Moore), confesses on cheating on him and is requesting a divorce. Cal has been opened to the single world, but without knowledge of the modern day dating, he stands out as the epitome of un-smooth. Spending his nights sulking at a local bar, he was taken on, like adopted by Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling) and introduced him to flirty women, manly drinks and sense of style, in order to get over his wife so he could start living his life again. The film also shows other characters, with relation to Cal, getting crazy and stupid about love. His 13-year –old son is crazy about his 17-year-old babysitter, which in turn in love with Cal. Jacob also has unresolved issues and still pinning for a woman who got away.

Our Idiot Brother

With every family, there is always that one person who is a little bit left behind the curve. That is what this title film; Our Idiot Brother is all about. Ranked (as of now), number 4 on the box office, also received positive reviews on Rotten Tomato, you can never go wrong if you will watch Our Idiot Brother this coming weekend. Ned (Paul Rudd) is the idiot brother of sisters Liz, Miranda and Natalie (Emily Mortimer, Elizabeth Banks and Zooey Deschanel, respectively). Ned’s unfailing commitment to honesty messes in the comfortable life of his sisters. But as each Ned’s family’s lives slowly unravels, they realize that maybe in trusting and believing the people around him, Ned is not an idiot after all.

Another reason why these two are a good movies to watch this season, is Crazy, Stupid, Love and Our Idiot Brother’s ensemble cast. G.I. JANE

An Armed Senate Services Committee interviewed an aspirant for the place of a Navy Secretary. Senator Lillian DeHaven (Anne Bancroft) Texas criticized the Navy not being neutral with gender. A deal was made: If women were compared with men in a number of tests cases, women will be fully merged with all branches of Navy.

There they tested in a training course (fictional) of the United States Navy Combined Reconnaissance Team (suchlike U.S. Nave SEAL BUD/S). The Senataor Dehaven hand-picked Lieutenant Jordan O’Neil (Demi Moore), because she is physically attractive and more feminine than other, more masculine looking cadidates.

To pass it, O’Neil must survive the most toughest programs selected for her. The programs where almost 70 percent of all aspirants were washed out in the first hell of a life week.

To make the grade, O’Neil must survive a grueling selection program in which almost 70 percent of all candidates wash out, most in the first week (“hell week”). The enigmatic Command Master Chief John James Urgayle (Viggo Mortensen) was head of the brutal training program that involved 20-hour day tasks to wear down and out recruits’ physical and mental strength. The training included the almost impossible tasks, having to go through tough obstacle courses, and
hauling land rafts.

They were all given half a minute time allowance in their obstacle course. O’Neil demanded to be treated with the same standard as the male trainees. During her Eight weeks in the program, she suffered a lot of extreme beating from the Master Chief during their SERE training. During which he tried to persist and convince the other trainees that the presence of a woman will make them look bad in combat. O’Neil fights back and wins her respect from the trainees.

The Navy leaders that were too confident who thought that a woman would quickly and be easily be dropped out, got concerned. The Media learned of O’Neil’s involement, and became a sensation known as “G.I. Jane.” Soon she must face the charges that she is a lesbian, and that she will fraternizing with women. She was told that she will be given a desk job while the investigations going on. If she’ll be cleared, will need to repeat training. She then decided to “ring out” (ringing a bell three times, giving signal of her voluntary withdrawal from the program) than accepting a desk job.

It is later revealed in the movie that the evidence of a photo of O’Neil’s alleged fraternization was a set up from Senator DeHaven’s office. DeHaven in the first place did not intend for O’Neil to succeed. She only used her as a bait to bargain chip in trade to halt the military base closing in her home state (Texas). O’Neil threatened to expose DeHaven’s acts, who then had the charges on her voided and O’Neil was back with the program.

Ohe final training (an operation for readiness exercise) was interrupted by an emergency took place that required SEAL trainees’ to support. The situation involved a reconnaissance satelite powered by weapons-grade plutonium which fell in a Libyan desert. A team of U.S. Army Rangers were sent to retrieve the plutonium but failed during their evacuation. The SEAL trainees were sent to assist them.

The Master Chief shot a Libyan soldier to protect O’Neil. This led to a combat with a Libyan patrol. While on the mission, O’Neil made a fully differentiated ability in leadership and precise strategy while rescuing their injured Master Chief. They pulled him out of an explosives-laden “kill zone.” Helicopter gunships came in for the rescue and was successful in their mission.

When they returned, all those who fought in the mission were accepted to the CRT. Urgayle gave O’Neil his Navy Cross and a poetry (book) “Self-Pity”, as an acknowledgment of her great accomplishment, honor, and gratitude, for rescuing him.

RATATOUILLE

A story of a rat named Remy, a provincial rat who had dreams of being a great French chef. He had a gift with a wonderful sense of smell. He dislikes eating garbage and the fact that he’s a rat. He likes to find and cook fine food, fresh food with a touch of class. His family is obviously not being so supportive of his dreams. His family use his great sense of smell to ransack where goodies were hidden and which not to eat (rat poison). One day, at the provincial place where they live nearby, they had had a problem and that they had to flee. Remy got separated from his family. They drifted into separate directions through the stream. Fate brought Remy in the sewers of the city of Love, he found himself ideally in front of a restaurant by his favorite culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. He thought that it was a sign from his hero to pursue his dreams.

Despite of the obvious dangers of being an unwanted visitor in the kitchen one one of the most exclusive restaurants in Paris, Remy had an odd and unlikely friendship with Linguini, the garbage boy, who he accidentally discovered Remy’s overwhelming talents. They made a deal which lead them to making a deal that will help them with their endeavors. Along the process of getting to know and helping each other, an exciting and hilarious happened between their odd friendship. Their team work made a mark of great inspiration.
Remy was too caught up with his first love, cooking that he almost forgot about his life as a rat. One day, Remy found himself confused in choosing between following his great dream or returning to his previous life which did not make him happy as much as a rat. He had learned how important trust is in friendship and family. He had learned that dreams do come true if you persevere and believer that he can do things, great or small, No matter who or what you are or where you come from. He was greatly inspired by his hero (Auguste Gusteau), he said “Anyone can cook!”

This is not only inspirational but also a good “watch-with-the-whole-family” kind of movie!
