There is a lot of stuff you can get in the internet for free, and one of my favorites is getting to watch movies online without any extra charges.  You can find a wide selection of websites where you can get to watch free movies and I am going to share with you some of it that I am a fan of.

• SurfTheChannel

This is a search engine for videos on the web.  This site can provide you a link to thousands of movies as well as television shows all over the web.  Works like Google.  You can simply filter the search results depending on what you are looking for.  You can search by video provider or by channel.  You can also find groups that you’d like to join and talk with regarding your favorite movies or TV series/shows.  All you need to do is become a registered user for free to start a conversation with any of them.  For a media search engine, I highly recommend SurfTheChannel because it is easy to use and has a nice design, plus, it has a fairly accurate site search.

• OVGuide

In order to watch movies online, you would need OVGuide to search for that movie you want.  OVGuide can provide you links to thousands of multimedia resources.  You’ll be led to sites that would allow you to watch movies right on your browser, but other sites would need a particular player for you to be able to watch the movies they offer.  To search for movies, you can use the search box right on top of the page or the A-Z site index.  Each of the sites that OVGuide add to their search directory is editorially reviewed for its content and quality, so rest assured that whenever you use this site to search for movies to watch online, it’ll point you to good multimedia links.

• Internet Archive Moving Image Archive

The Internet Archive is an ongoing retrieval/digital remembrance project wherein the Moving Image Archive is one of its many sections.  The latter is a vast library of free films, videos and movies that were made as far back as the 1800s.  You can watch movies online anytime but you don’t get to watch and have access to super classic movies from any website other than what you can get from Moving Image Archive.  This section of The Internet Archive is organized into a dozen categories ranging from Sports Videos to Animation.
